Retail marketing and merchandising expert brings 40+ years of experience to new role; will advise Grabbr on enhancement of solution offerings for enterprise retail customers

FRANKLIN, Tenn., Feb. 21, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Grabbr, a social referral marketing platform that leverages and promotes organic social shares as a currency in exchange for products, services or discounts, today announced it has appointed retail veteran Alan Beach to its Advisory Board.

Over a 40-year career at 7-Eleven, Beach established an accomplished track record leading the execution of merchandising and marketing strategies for the Company. He joined 7-Eleven in 1977 and was instrumental in developing many key products, including the Burger Bite grill item, the Slurpee Splitz-O Cup, the Café Cooler beverage line, and Dark Mountain Roast coffee. Over his career, he led critical business functions within operations, field merchandising, and merchandising – most recently as the Sr. Vice President of Merchandising.

“I am delighted to be joining the talented Advisory Board of Grabbr. I believe that the Grabbr concept will add new value in the marketplace, and I’m joining a strong, high integrity leadership team,” said Beach. “After many years with 7-Eleven leading category management, retail merchandising, and product and brand marketing, this opportunity enables me to apply my knowledge and experience to their technology and dedicated team to accelerate strategy and progress. We are mutually committed to create value for consumers, and results for our clients, which will ultimately reward our investors.”

“I am thrilled to welcome Alan to the Grabbr team. His 40-year career at 7-Eleven brings tremendous value to Grabbr, and particularly to our enterprise retail customers,” said David Dunham, CEO, Grabbr. “His experience in the marketing and merchandising of retail products will be valuable as we continue to build that pipeline of our business, and we look forward to utilizing the expertise he brings from such a distinguished career.”
