A global roundup of moves, appointments and personnel changes in the world's wealth management sector.
Allfunds has appointed Pascal Duval as senior advisor for France
and Benelux. Duval has more than 35 years of experience in asset
and wealth management, serving in leadership roles notably at
Amundi as deputy head of solutions and services, and Russell
Investments, where he was CEO for EMEA.
Rathbones Group appointed Charlotte Lamb as head of asset
management, intermediaries and charities marketing. She is based
in London and reports to Iain Clark, head of marketing and client
strategy for Rathbones Group. Most recently, Lamb was demand
generation director, within the digital and demand generation
team at BNY.
Ocorian, a business providing asset servicing for private markets
and corporate and fiduciary administration, appointed Colm
O’Brien as head of EMEA sales – funds. Prior to this, O’Brien was
managing director, global head of sales, alternatives at BNP
Paribas Securities Services.
MilleniumAssociates, an M&A and corporate finance
advisory firm based in Switzerland and the UK, appointed Neil
Fatharly as a member of its global advisory board. Fatharly
founded and is managing consultant of GHV Consulting.
Evelyn Partners appointed Bahador Mahvelati as chief operations
officer and a member of the group executive committee. He joined
from PwC UK, where he was a strategy and operations partner.
Quilter Cheviot hired Nicola Toyer as a director within its
charities team. Most recently, Toyer served as head of charities
and previously as investment director at Investec Wealth &
Investment UK. Toyer reports to William Reid, Quilter Cheviot’s
head of charities.
Bank of Singapore made six new appointments in its advisory and
product solutions group in the Dubai International Financial
Centre. Zeena Abou Elnaja joined the bank’s investment
advisory team from Julius Baer. A CFA by qualification, Abou
Elnaja also worked with Standard Chartered Bank in the Middle
East. Mehvish Ayub joined as a senior specialist covering
managed solutions and alternatives in the region. Previously, she
worked at State Street Global Advisors as head of investment
strategies across the Middle East and North Africa. Ayub also
worked at Morgan Stanley and Barings Asset Management. The
bank named Brandon Chee as a product specialist covering equity
and structured products advisory. Chee has more than 15 years of
experience in Asia with banks such as OCBC and CIMB. BoS also
welcomed Anish Mehta as a product specialist on the foreign
exchange advisory desk. Mehta, who relocated from London to the
United Arab Emirates, has more than 15 years of experience in the
FX, commodities and derivatives markets. He joined from Rabobank
in London, where he was director on the FX and commodities
desk.
Another Bank of Singapore joiner was Yasmine Omari as the head of
wealth planning for its Dubai hub and Fatima Al Zadjali as
director, marketing and communications. Omari was most recently
with Ernst & Young as a senior manager providing advice to UHNW
families across the region. Al Zadjali joined from private
banking division of Habib Bank AG Zurich. She previously worked
with Standard Chartered and Mashreq Bank.
Romeo Lacher, Julius Baer’s chairman of its board of directors, did not seek re-election in its annual meeting.
KBI Global Investors (KBIGI), a specialist asset management boutique, appointed Geoff Blake as chief executive officer. Blake was formerly deputy CEO and global head of business development and client services; he joined the Dublin-based firm in 1994 and was appointed deputy CEO in February last year.
Coutts & Co announced that its chairman Lord Remnant intended to retire. He is remaining with Coutts in a senior advisory capacity.
NatureAlpha, a firm providing biodiversity and nature risk analytics, appointed Laura Segafredo as chief growth officer. Dr Segafredo joined after eight years at BlackRock where she was most recently a managing director and the global head of sustainable product and portfolio research.
UK-based Brown Shipley, a Quintet Private Bank, appointed Thomas
Clarke as client advisor in Nottingham. Clarke joined from
Woodgate Financial Planning, where he was a financial planner.
Earlier, he served in financial planning support roles.
Apex Group, a global financial services provider, appointed
Predrag Maletic as global head of product and operations –
corporate solutions. Based in the Netherlands, Maletic is
responsible for managing operational efficiency, strengthening
client delivery and accelerating growth within the group’s
corporate solutions division. An industry veteran, Maletic
has more than 25 years of experience in the financial services
industry. Prior to joining Apex Group, he served as head of
strategy and innovation at Citco Corporate Solutions, a division
of Citco Group – it was his second stint with the business.
CFA UK appointed Nick Bartlett as chief executive. Bartlett is succeeding Will Goodhart, who stepped down after 18 years in the role.
LGT Wealth Management, a UK firm, announced the appointment of 11
new partners:

Candriam, a global multi-asset manager focused on sustainable and
responsible investing, appointed Cristina Lugaro as head of
distribution – Nordics. Lugaro, who is based in
Stockholm, reports to Olivier Maes, head distribution
BeNeLux & Nordics and a member of the executive committee. Lugaro
took over from Alain Deflandre, head of distribution Luxembourg &
Nordics, who continued in his role as head of distribution
Luxembourg. Lugaro has over 19 years of extensive experience in
asset management and international sales, working for Nordic,
European and US-based investment firms.
Charles Russell Speechlys promoted two of counsel in Paris: Julia
Landru in the private wealth/tax team and Orlando Vignoli Neto in
the corporate/private equity/venture capital team.
The Openwork Partnership appointed David Thomas as digital
product director. Thomas, who served as head of product at
Schroders Personal Wealth, spent 15 years with Schroders
Personal Wealth and Lloyds Banking Group wealth
advisors.
AllianceBernstein appointed Adam Peters as head of UK retail
distribution. He is based in AB’s London office. Peters, who has
nearly 20 years industry experience, most recently worked at
Goldman Sachs Asset Management as head of UK wealth
distribution.
Stonehage Fleming, the multi-family office, appointed Stuart Parkinson as group CEO, based in the firm’s London office. He took over from Giuseppe Ciucci, executive chairman, who led the business as interim CEO after Chris Merry left in September 2023. Parkinson was previously CEO at Lombard International, the insurer.
Whitmill, an independent corporate, fund, and private client
services provider based in Jersey, appointed Daniel Channing as
group head of private client services. With a career
spanning 20 years, Channing’s experience includes a focus on the
Middle East. Prior to this role, Channing was an executive
director at an international fiduciary services
business.
London-based TILLIT, an investment platform and workplace pension
challenger, promoted Sheridan Admans, previously head of fund
selection, to chief investment officer.
Belasko, the fund and fiduciary firm, with offices in several
countries, appointed Paul Nayar as chief financial and operations
officer, based in Jersey. Most recently, he served as group chief
financial officer at Crestbridge Group. His career also includes
leadership spots at Zedra, Santander, and RBS International.
LLB, or Liechtensteinische Landesbank, appointed former Zürcher
Kantonalbank figure Michael Hartmann as a new member of the group
executive board, and as head of the private and corporate banking
division. Hartmann took over from Urs Müller.
UK-based Brown Shipley appointed Kate Richardson as a client
advisor in London reporting to James Blashfield, team leader
London domestic. Most recently, Richardson a senior client
advisor for the South West region at UBS Wealth
Management.
Moonfare, a digital private equity manager, appointed Heike
Hövekamp as chief legal and compliance officer and member of the
executive committee. She reports to Moonfare's co-CEO, Lorenz
Jüngling. Previously, Hövekamp was head of compliance at Société
Générale and, prior to that, she was head of markets compliance
advisory in the firm's Frankfurt office.
Allfunds, a B2B WealthTech platform for the funds industry, appointed Sebastian Henrichs as senior advisor to accelerate growth in Germany and Austria. Previously serving as CEO of FNZ in Germany and Fondsdepot Bank, Henrichs also has experience with banking regulators in Germany and Europe.
Universal Investment Group, a fund services platform, appointed
Jeremy Albrecht as its new CEO for Luxembourg. Albrecht, a French
national based in Luxembourg, has 20 years’ experience in the
asset servicing industry.
La Financière de l’Échiquier appointed Michel Saugné as chief
investment officer (CIO). Saugné is responsible for LFDE’s
investment activities. Since Tocqueville Finance merged with LFDE
in April 2024, Saugné had served as co-CIO with Olivier de
Berranger, CEO of LFDE.
Global wealth management group GSB hired Hugh Johnson as chief operating officer of GSB, based in the company’s London office. He previously served in senior roles at The Fry Group and global financial services firm Sanlam. At the Fry Group, he was global head of operations.
UK-based 7IM appointed Tom Glossop as head of Microsoft platform
to support its rapidly-growing digital transformation
service. Glossop served as power platform lead at PwC.
Berlin-headquartered Periskop Partners, an independent investment
advisor specialising in the real estate sector, appointed Dominik
Brambring as the managing partner of the newly-established
Periskop Opportunities GmbH. Previously, Brambring spent 11 years
at PGIM Real Estate Germany, where he most recently served as
managing director and head of Germany. His prior roles include
managing director and co-head of Germany at the Blackstone Group,
where he led asset and portfolio management in Germany and
Central Europe.
Offshore law firm Appleby appointed Claire van Overdijk, KC, as a
partner in its dispute resolution business in Bermuda. Prior to
this role, van Overdijk practised at another Bermuda law firm.
Theta Capital, a European investor in blockchain venture capital, hired Jeroen Tielman as head of institutional relations. Tielman has more than 35 years of experience in alternative asset management, including founding and being CEO of IMQubator and the founder and CEO of FundPartners.
Bentley Reid appointed Matt Finch as director, wealth management, based in its London office. He took over from Andy Hurst, director, Wealth Management, who has retired after almost 30 years with the firm.
Titanbay hired Manuel Noia as head of Italy, based in Milan. With over two decades of experience in financial services and a track record of driving regional growth, Noia joined from FinDelivery, where he oversaw institutional business origination. Previously, he held senior positions at Credit Suisse, Nordea Asset Management, and Pictet Asset Management.
Kingswood appointed interim CEO Peter Coleman as its permanent chief executive officer. Coleman is a former chief commercial officer at Succession and Wealth Wizards and CEO of national IFA Positive Solutions. He is a director of various financial services and advisor businesses. Coleman was appointed as interim CEO last July after the sudden departure of David Lawrence who joined the group in 2020.
Findlay Park Partners appointed Rose Vangerven as CEO, taking over from Simon Pryke, who became executive chairman. Vangerven joined Findlay Park in 2019.
Schroders appointed Philip Chandler as chief investment officer (CIO) of Schroder Investment Solutions. Chandler, who joined Schroders in 2003, maintained his current position as head of UK multi-asset while also stepping into the role of CIO.
The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment appointed
Steven McBurnie CFP™ Chartered FCSI (Financial Planning) as the
new chair of the CISI Paraplanner Interest Group (PPIG). McBurnie
took over from Dan Atkinson, who stepped down as PPIG chair.
Paris-based asset manager Carmignac appointed Naomi Waistell as
emerging market portfolio manager, based in London. Waistell, who
reports to Mark Denham, head of equities, has 15 years’
experience as a portfolio manager. She joined from Polar
Capital.
Crestbridge Family Office Services promoted four of its
Jersey-based team members. Daniel Cavey, who works with
complex structures spanning jurisdictions including Switzerland,
Cayman and the US, and Debbie Donaldson, who specialises in
supporting the objectives of high net worth Middle Eastern
families, were promoted to senior manager. Marta Latek, who is
responsible for the day-to-day administration of one of the
firm’s largest clients, was promoted to a next level
administrator, and Jack Rondel, who provides support for a broad
base of clients, became an administrator.
Charles Russell Speechlys appointed Racheal Muldoon as partner in its financial services and funds team. She is based in the UK. The law firm also appointed Aline Wey Speirs as a partner in its litigation and dispute resolution division. Speirs joined its Zurich office team from Altenburger Legal + Tax Ltd, where she headed up its dispute resolution team for five years.
Muldoon is an internationally-recognised practitioner in the
field of digital assets, including cryptocurrency, non-fungible
tokens, and tokenized real-world assets such as art and real
estate. The firm also appointed to partner Maher Al Nashar, who
joined its litigation team in Dubai. Prior to this, he worked at
Clyde & Co and has worked with Middle East clients for more than
three decades.
Stephenson Executive Search, the UK-based firm operating in the
wealth management sector, appointed Joss Bucknall to the post of
consultant. Previously, Bucknall worked at Close Brothers Asset
Management.
Templeton Emerging Markets Investment Trust appointed Sarika
Patel as a non-executive director. She took on the role of chair
of the audit and risk committee.
Rathbones Asset Management appointed Kim Nelson as business
development director to lead asset management distribution in
Scotland and Northern Ireland.
Mbear Merchant Bank, founded by Michael Baer, a scion of the
Julius Baer family dynasty, restructured its management team.
Annett Viehweg, who was previously the corporate banking head,
took over as CEO from Baer. Viehweg, who has more than 30 years
of experience in the banking and financial market, worked for
over 26 years in various management positions at Deutsche Bank
and for several years at Sberbank Switzerland. Hendrik
Weber-Grellet became chief risk officer, also overseeing its
compliance work. Irina Buholzer took over as chief operating
officer.
Davies, a London-headquartered professional services and technology company serving insurance and other regulated markets, appointed Matt Button as deputy group CEO. Button, who leads Davies’ business units across operations, sales, and marketing, reports to group CEO, Dan Saulter. Button has worked at Davies since 2015.
London-headquartered Hurst Point named Michael Bishop as managing director of its investment management division, comprising principally Hawksmoor Investment Management and Gore Browne Investment Management. Bishop succeeded Sarah Soar who, after having led Hawksmoor over the last five years, stepped down from the business.
DBS appointed Rajat Verma as its new chief executive of the DBS
Bank India business. Verma, head of institutional banking
group at DBS Bank India, succeeded Surojit Shome as CEO upon
the latter’s retirement.
Carey Olsen has promoted five lawyers across its Guernsey, Hong
Kong, Jersey and London offices. In Guernsey, Oliver Orton
(corporate), was promoted to senior associate. In Hong Kong, Yi
Yang (litigation) was promoted to senior associate. In Jersey,
Sally Meggitt-Smith and Stephen Parnell (both corporate) were
promoted to senior associate. In London, Victoria Cure
(litigation) was promoted to senior associate.
Ogier recruited Andrew Faulkes as a private client director. He
operates from Monaco, working with UHNW individuals, family
offices and their advisors. Faulkes has more than 30 years'
experience in supporting families in the region and extensive
knowledge of the needs of private clients around the world.
North America
JP Morgan Private Bank expanded its Morgan Private Advisory arm
with a number of recruits.
Robert Fritz was named head of executive advisory; he has more than 30 years of experience at Goldman Sachs Ayco (a workplace financial planning business within Goldman Sachs.) Kevin Tompkins re-joined as a senior cybersecurity specialist from Wells Fargo. Christie Houlihan joined as a senior family office advisor from EY, specializing in family office design and succession planning.
Goldman Sachs appointed one of its senior figures, Brittany Boals Moeller, as region head of private wealth management, San Francisco. Moeller was region head for the Southeast in the US and head of its global PWM strategy for NextGen clients. She served as co-chair of the PWM Women’s Council since its inception in 2019, and joined Goldman Sachs in 2007 as an analyst, becoming a partner last year. Hunter Pierson took up her position as region head for the Southeast, PWM. Pierson is a private wealth advisor in the US group’s Atlanta office, advising ultra-high net worth families, institutions and foundations.
Janney Montgomery Scott appointed Tony Miller as CEO. He continued as president, a position he held since 2023. Tim Scheve, who joined the firm’s board of managers as an independent board director, was CEO and president from 2007 to 2023.
KKR, aka Kohlberg Kravis Roberts, appointed Guy Metcalfe, senior advisor. He focuses on areas such as real estate. Previously, he was an MD at Morgan Stanley.
The global head of Citi Private Bank, Ida Liu, left after almost 20 years at the US organization. The lender also made other changes in its private bank and wealth business. Liu had held her last position since April 2021, prior to which she was head of Citigroup’s private bank in North America. Four Citi Private Bank geographies report directly to Andy Sieg, head of wealth at Citi: 1) Japan, Asia North, Australia, and Asia South, 2) Latin America, 3) North America and 4) the UK, Europe and the Middle East. These are led, respectively, by Steven Lo, Antonio Gonzales, Cayman Wills (interim) and James Holder. Christian Zeinler, who joined as head of strategy for Citi Wealth and head of business execution for Citi Private Bank, reports to Sieg. The Family Office Group became part of the Integrated Client Engagement group, led by Dawn Nordberg. Hannes Hofmann, who heads the Global Family Office Group, reports to Nordberg. Johnathan Peterson, strategy partner, moved into a new role as head of financial planning on the Investment Solutions Team, reporting to Keith Glenfield.
Citi completed its sale of Citi Trust to JTC, the trust business led by Rob Laughlin, who reports to Valentin Valderrabano and the chief operating officer operation. The bank’s wealth business also welcomed Anne McCosker as its new head of lending.
Global investment firm Carlyle appointed a managing director and Asia-Pacific head for its wealth arm. Brad McCarthy joined as MD, head of APAC, for its Carlyle Global Wealth business. McCarthy, who is based in Singapore, has more than 25 years’ wealth and asset management industry experience. He joined from Citi Private Bank and Global Wealth, where he was MD and APAC head of alternative investment sales.
Michael P Lyons, president of the PNC Financial Services Group, left the US lender.
B Capital, an investment firm, appointed Yan-David Erlich as general partner, based in San Francisco. Erlich is an experienced technology and AI investor and a four-time venture-backed founder and CEO. Erlich was most recently the chief operating officer and chief revenue officer at Weights & Biases, an AI developer platform.
Argent Financial Group added Keating Lowery as senior vice president and relationship manager at Argent Trust Company in Memphis. Lowery has 15 years of trust administration experience, including the past decade as a trust relationship manager at First Horizon Bank.
Newly-created Pepin Family Office, formed by Tampa Bay businessman and philanthropist Tom Pepin, named Tom Lee as its chief executive. Lee served in the Florida Senate as a Republican for 18 years in two separate terms, first from 1996 to 2006 and again from 2012 to 2020.
Envestnet, the US platform and tech group that was bought by Bain Capital in 2024, appointed Chris Todd as its new permanent CEO. He took over from Jim Fox, who served in the role ad interim. Todd most recently served as chief executive of UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group), a privately held software company.
Rockefeller Global Family Office, the wealth management division of Rockefeller Capital Management, added two private advisor teams – Heritage Wealth Partners of Houston, Texas, and Venetos Wealth Partners of New York. Heritage Wealth Partners includes private advisor and managing director Charles Vetters, private advisor and senior vice president Mark Dahl, and senior client associate and associate vice president Maria Navarro. They report to Michael Armondo, Central Divisional director of Rockefeller Global Family Office.
In the case of Venetos Wealth Partners, it includes private advisor and MD Jim Venetos, private advisor and senior vice president Peter Venetos, and senior client associate and associate vice president Tegest “TJ” Asefa-Brown. The team, which was previously with JP Morgan Wealth Management, report to Michael Outlaw, head of enterprise strategic growth and New York metro divisional director of Rockefeller Global Family Office.
Denise E Chambliss joined BakerHostetler’s San Francisco office as a partner in its tax practice group and a member of the private wealth planning team. Chambliss, who has more than 25 years of litigation experience, joined from a multiservice law firm, where she was the founding chair of its trust and estate litigation practice group.
InspereX, a tech-driven fixed income and structured products distribution and trading firm, appointed Scott Mitchell as its CEO. Mitchell took over from John DesPrez, who retired after serving as the CEO since his appointment in January 2015.
CG Financial Services, an RIA, appointed Scott Hiipakka as president and chief operating officer. Prior to this, Hiipakka was CEO of the Michigan Israel Business Accelerator, a non-profit economic development organization. Hiipakka has extensive leadership experience and is a major general in the Michigan Army National Guard, where he oversees mission operations.
Baird, a wealth manager and provider of financial services including investment banking, added the OARS Group and The Little Morris Group to its embrace. OARS is located in Danvers, Massachusetts; The Little Morris Group is in Scottsdale, Arizona. The OARS Group came from Janney Montgomery Scott. Robert F Clark and E Alan Freeman joined as senior vice presidents and financial advisors, and Brian E Glavin serves as a financial advisor. They are supported by senior client specialists Heidi A Riley and Lisa M Morgan.
The Hittle Morris Group came from Wells Fargo. Julie Hittle and Jennifer Morris joined as director and financial advisor. Brown Advisory named Logie Fitzwilliams as its co-CEO to serve alongside long-time CEO Mike Hankin, as part of its new leadership structure. Based in Baltimore, Hankin has served as the sole CEO and president since the firm became private and independent in 1998. Fitzwilliams started with Brown Advisory in 2003 as an equity research analyst, supporting the firm's US equity strategies. Most recently, he served as the UK-based head of international business and global head of sales.
Kestra Financial said John V Amore, its head of wealth management, would become president from the start of April. He will replace Stephen R Langlois, who is retiring at the end of 2025.
Merrill Wealth Management launched its UHNW Advisory Group, a team of specialists who will partner with advisors. As part of the launch, Rob Romano, head of capital markets investor solutions for Merrill, leads the group and reports to Brian Partridge, head of investment solutions group specialists. Bank of America said Ed Riley, a former wealth management figure at the bank, returned after a spell at Citigroup. Riley was named head of investment solutions group, capital markets. He reports to Nancy Fahmy, head of the ISG, and is based in New York. Prior to this, Riley was head of wealth markets for the Americas at Citi Wealth, focused on UHNW clients. Working in the sector for almost 25 years, Riley spent nearly 20 years at Bank of America and Merrill. Most recently, he was the head of markets product origination within the global wealth and investment management division.
Jessica Mullin joined the ISG as a capital markets strategist. Mullin is based in New York. She reports to Rob Romano, who leads capital markets investor solutions and the newly-formed UHNW Advisory Group. Previously, Mullin was the head of capital markets sales at UBS.
The Private Equity Women Investor Network made two board appointments: Eileen Mancera, managing director, North American business development at Pemberton Asset Management, and Sarah Samuels, partner, NEPC. They serve a four-year term. Mancera is a founding member of PEWIN; Samuels served on the PEWIN steering committee and co-leads the organization’s membership committee and Boston chapter.
Azarias Capital, a boutique small cap value equity manager based in Berwyn, Pennsylvania, appointed Jocelyn Dalkin as chief operating officer and financial officer. Dalkin, who was formerly CFO and chief compliance officer Millrace Asset Group, has 25 years of experience in accounting, finance, compliance and operations. A Certified Public Accountant, Dalkin has worked at Cipperman Compliance Services, TC Partners and Bluefin Investment Management. Azarias also promoted Dan Petruzzi to partner. Petruzzi joined Azarias in 2023 as associate portfolio manager.
Raymond James welcomed financial advisors John “David” Veitch and Drew Veitch to its employee advisor channel. Based in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the team was joined by David Veitch’s brother, client service associate Scott Veitch. Mary Lauritano, an advisor in Florida, joined the employee advisor channel of Raymond James. She leads Lauritano Wealth Management of Raymond James; she was joined by senior client service associates Natalia Morales and Melody Price. The firm also welcomed financial advisor Chris Helton to its independent advisor channel. As Helton Wealth Management, based in Huntsville, Alabama, Helton provides financial planning and guidance to a variety of clients, specializing in high net worth individuals and business owners and those nearing or in retirement.
Ocorian, which provides asset servicing for private markets and corporate and fiduciary administration, added Lynne Westbrook to the team as head of fund services in Dallas. Prior to joining Ocorian, Westbrook was a director in private markets at Aztec Group. She also worked in the UK as a vice president at JP Morgan and has worked at LoneStar and SS&C.
Cetera Financial Group brought Jennifer Read, Terri Steele and their team into the firm. The team joined from Osaic.
Savant Wealth Management, an RIA, named Zach Ivey as its chief investment officer. Ivey joined Savant in 2023 when it bought Alabama-based Bridgeworth Wealth Management. He was previously chief investment strategist and is a member-owner of Savant.
Private Advisor Group, an RIA, appointed Dave Carratt as director of advisor growth and engagement, and David Bogdanov as business development consultant.
Global business advisor EisnerAmper announced that PJ Manchanda joined the firm as a tax partner in its private client services group. With about 15 years of experience, Manchanda specializes in tax advisory for high net worth families and privately owned businesses.
Brown Brothers Harriman added Alex Rohr to its corporate advisory and banking team in Philadelphia as a managing director. Prior to this, Rohr was at Merion Investment Partners, a lower middle market private debt and equity investment fund.
Citi Wealth appointed a former senior JP Morgan figure, Marc Turansky, to the newly-formed role of head of investment advisory programs for its investment solutions arm. Based in New York, he reports to Keith Glenfield, global head of investment solutions at Citi Wealth. Turansky was previously managing director, head of advisory programs, JP Morgan Wealth Management, where he worked for 12 years.
US-based Orion, a provider of transformative wealth tech solutions for fiduciary advisors, appointed Arun Anur as chief operating officer. Anur has more than 30 years of industry experience. Most recently, he was chief operating officer at Envestnet, Yodlee, where he managed global services, including solution consulting, professional services and customer support.
Connecticut-headquartered Procyon Partners, an RIA, appointed Mark Sullivan as senior vice president and senior private wealth advisor. His background includes over a decade at UBS.
Californian trust and estates firm Hoffman Sabban & Watenmaker – founded in 1981 – joined international law firm Withers. The joiners are based in Los Angeles and formed a practice of eight lawyers, three paralegals and additional team members.
The partners include:

tax, estate planning, trust administration and probate, and
charitable planning;

KeyCorp appointed former Frist Republic (now part of JP Morgan)
figure Robert Weiss as head of Key Family Wealth, the business
concentrating on ultra-high net worth clients. Gary Poth, who
formerly held the position, left last summer. Weiss is based in
New York City and reports to Key Wealth president Joe Skarda.
Weiss was at JP Morgan Wealth Management (following the
acquisition in 2023 of First Republic), where he was regional
business leader covering New York, New Jersey and
Connecticut.
Asia-Pacific
Standard Chartered appointed former Jones Lang Lasalle senior
figure Khoo Kian Jin as head of private markets for Southeast
Asia and South Asia. Khoo Kian Jin is based in Singapore, and
reports to Nicholas Cheng, the head of the private markets group
for the global private bank. In total, “KJ” has almost 20 years’
experience in wealth management, with a track record across
private banking, family offices and commercial real estate. Prior
to his new post, Khoo was head of private wealth for Asia capital
markets at Jones Lang Lasalle.
Global investment firm Carlyle appointed a managing director and Asia-Pacific head for its wealth arm. Brad McCarthy joined as MD, head of APAC, for its Carlyle Global Wealth business. McCarthy, who is based in Singapore, also oversees the institutional wealth channel for Carlyle in Australia and New Zealand. McCarthy has more than 25 years’ wealth and asset management industry experience leading sales and client servicing teams, product launches and distribution strategies. He joined from Citi Private Bank and Global Wealth, where he was MD and APAC head of alternative investment sales. Prior to Citigroup, McCarthy was head of Asia at Permal.
Sun Hung Kai Capital Partners, the licensed funds management subsidiary of Sun Hung Kai & Co, appointed Lincoln Chan as director. Chan is responsible for sales of funds and products at SHK Capital Partners.
Prior to this, Chan has more than 15 years of experience in the asset management industry; he served as director of intermediary business at Value Partners Group. His career includes senior positions at several leading financial institutions, including HSBC Global Asset Management, Standard Chartered Bank, Citibank, and HSBC, where he specialised in wealth management and investment strategies.
AIFT, a Hong Kong-based company that provides cybersecurity and insurance technology that taps into digital trends such as AI, appointed Obaid Buti Almulla of Dubai Insurance to join its board of directors. Professor Tony Chan, the former president of King Abdullah University of Science and Technology in Saudi Arabia, joined AIFT’s international advisory board.
Coller Capital, which specialises in managing private market secondary investments, set up a Singapore office. It named Peter Wu as head of product management, private wealth, in the Asia city-state. Wu, who has more than 14 years of global industry experience, was previously the global head of product control at Partners Group.
JP Morgan Asset Management appointed Supreet Bhan as head of intermediary business for Hong Kong. Bhan is based in Hong Kong; he reports to Elisa Ng, CEO of Hong Kong.
With more than two decades' experience in financial services, Bhan joined the business as head of funds for India in 2013 and has since led various distribution teams across the APAC region. In his most recent role, he was head of Southeast Asia funds.
Union Bancaire Privée appointed a former venture capital figure, Jamian Lai as its market head for the Philippines. Lai is based in Hong Kong and reports to Ricardo Choi, Philippines head. Prior to this new role, Lai worked at Headline Asia, a venture capital firm, where he was most recently venture partner and head of investor relations. Before that, he was market team head for Hong Kong and the Philippines at UBS. His career also includes time at the private banking arm of Morgan Stanley, JP Morgan, and Standard Chartered, as well as Synergy Capital Advisors, a private equity manager.
The Family Office Association Hong Kong re-elected Chi-man Kwan,
of Raffles Family Office, as its chair. Grant Ko and Jim Kwok
were appointed as vice chairs, with Jim Kwok also being
re-elected for a second term in this role. Angel Chia was
previously the chair of the association.
A former chief operating officer at the private bank of Deutsche
Bank, Sudhir Nemali, joined Nomura’s international wealth arm in
the COO and managing director position. Nemali is based in
Singapore, reporting to Aleem Jivraj, chief operating officer,
global markets, and Ravi Raju, head of international wealth
management. At Deutsche Bank’s private banking arm, Nemali
served in the COO role for Asia-Pacific, Middle East and Africa,
and Latin America.
Cross-border advisor Quantuma promoted Joffrey Tan to managing director in its Singapore office. Tan was an integral part of Quantuma’s Singapore team for over three years.
HSBC announced a raft of appointments at its global private banking operations in Asia. Urban Binggeli was appointed global private banking (GPB) desk head for Indonesia. He reports to Hammad Hashmi, market head for Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia at HSBC GPB. Binggeli has more than 15 years’ experience in wealth management and UHNW client advisory.Benjamin Wang was named as GPB desk head for Thailand; he has more than 20 years’ experience in private banking and wealth management and has served as interim desk head for Thailand since July 2024. He leads the Thailand offshore and onshore teams based in Singapore and Bangkok. Based in Singapore, Wang reports to Hammad Hashmi, market head for Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore, on an entity basis and Abhishek Mehrotra, market head, Southeast Asia International, on a functional basis.

HSBC appointed former Citigroup figure Jil Chin as new head of international wealth hub for Singapore. Krist Wong previously held the role. Chin reports to Ashmita Acharaya, head of international wealth and premier banking, HSBC Singapore.
Eastspring Investments appointed Ray Farris as its first chief economist. At Prudential, Farris provides macroeconomic views and research in alignment with an evolving global macroeconomic and geopolitical landscape. Based in Singapore, Farris reports to Eastspring Investments’ chief investment officer Vis Nayar. With more than 30 years’ experience as an economist and strategist for international financial services firms, Farris led research in economics, markets and policy across three continents.
Bank of Singapore added three managers to its discretionary portfolio management team: Ivan Goh (senior portfolio manager; Donovan Goh (portfolio management), and Shayna Mok (client portfolio manager). Ivan Goh, who joined the firm in September 2024, most recently was senior investment strategist at LGT Bank (Hong Kong); Donovan Goh joined the firm in October last year as a fixed income portfolio manager. He used to work for UBS.
Charles Russell Speechlys, a law firm headquartered in London, appointed Tun Zaw Mra as a partner in the corporate team in Singapore. Tun, who was previously at Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner, has more than 14 years’ experience advising on M&A and other corporate transactions in the UK, Europe, and the Asia-Pacific region.
Muzinich & Co, which focuses on public and private corporate credit, appointed former BlackRock senior figure Pam Hsieh as director for marketing and client relations, based in Singapore. Hsieh reports to Sashi Nambiar, head of financial intermediaries and wealth, Asia.
Warburg Pincus and Australia-based real estate group Lendlease appointed former Abu Dhabi Investment Council senior figure Bart Price as CEO of the JV’s life sciences, R&D and innovation property platform. Price is based in Singapore. Working in capital markets, infrastructure and real estate in Asia-Pacific for more than 20 years, Price was most recently head of growth markets real assets at the ADIC, where he oversaw Asia-Pacific real estate and Asia-Pacific/Latin American infrastructure.
DBS appointed Rajat Verma as its new chief executive of the DBS Bank India business. Verma, head of institutional banking group (IBG) at DBS Bank India, succeeded Surojit Shome as CEO. Verma is part of DBS’ group management committee. Shome was appointed as CEO of DBS Bank India in 2015.
Carey Olsen, an offshore law firm, promoted several lawyers, including in Hong Kong, where Yi Yang (litigation) was promoted to senior associate.
Singapore-based payment services group Network for Electronic Transfers appointed UOB head of group technology and operations, Lawrence Goh, to join its board. Goh succeeded Eddie Khoo, senior Advisor to UOB in Vietnam, as a UOB representative to the NETS board. Khoo was previously the head of group personal financial services. Goh held positions as the head of group infrastructure platform services and chief operating officer for GTO at UOB.
